Day 1: Arrive Copenhagen
Welcome to Scandinavia! Upon arrival to Copenhagen, Denmark's beautiful capital city, a local guide will meet your group in the airport arrivals hall and immediately lead it on a panoramic city tour of Copenhagen. See the main sights of the Danish capital beginning with a drive down Hans Christian Andersen Boulevard, which runs past the Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park. Cross the picturesque canal and drive past Christiansborg Palace, the seat of the Danish Parliament. Pass the beautiful, historic Stock Exchange and see Kongens Nytorv (King's New Square) with its Royal Theater. Continue to Nyhavn, a street well known for the variety of its nightlife, and then see Amalienborg Palace, the Danish Royal Family's winter residence. Your tour will then take you to one of the most famous sights in Copenhagen: the Little Mermaid statue, located in Copenhagen's lovely harbor. As part of the tour you will also see Rosenborg Castle, which was built in the Dutch-Renaissance style by the Danish King Christian IV as a summer residence.
The tour will finish at your Copenhagen hotel, where your group can check in and then have the remainder of the day to continue discovering this beautiful city. (Please note that should your group arrive before the hotel's official check-in time, which is generally 3:00 pm, you are more than welcome to store your baggage with the hotel staff so that you can immediately head out and enjoy exploring Copenhagen.)
Overnight Cruise - 1 night
Day 2: Cruise

This would be a great opportunity to visit Tivoli Gardens, to tour one of the city's historical palaces or to simply explore Copenhagen's trendy design boutiques and antique stores. If you intend to set out early and maximize your time, you may want to consider checking out and storing your baggage downstairs so that you don't have to return specifically to check out.
This afternoon your entire group will transfer to Copenhagen's port (by private coach) for your overnight cruise to Oslo, Norway. DFDS Seaways: ship sets sail at approximately 5:00 pm. Check in generally starts at 3:00 pm. (Note: the group's cabin and berth requests must be specified at the time of booking.)
Oslo - 1 night
Day 3: Arrive Oslo
This morning your group will wake up in Norway. The time of arrival of your cruise from Copenhagen to Oslo is roughly 9:45 am. A local guide will meet your group at the pier and lead it on an exciting, 3-hour city tour of Oslo by private coach. During your panoramic tour you will see Oslo's absolute best attractions including the medieval Akershus Fortress, the City Hall from the 1950s, the Royal Palace, Parliament and the National Theatre. Then continue west of the city center and visit the Vigeland Sculpture Park, a famous park that truly has no equal. The park is home to over 200 stone, bronze and cast-iron figural sculptures made by the Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland. Afterwards your sightseeing will continue as your guide takes you to the Bygdøy peninsula, which is located just outside the city center. Here your group will tour the Viking Ship Museum, which houses the world's best-preserved Viking vessels! The tour will finish at your hotel in Oslo. After checking in, feel free to relax or continue exploring the many sightseeing attractions of Oslo.
Stockholm - 2 nights
Day 4: Arrive Stockholm
After breakfast and check-out, your group will depart Oslo by private coach and travel east to Sweden. Your eventual destination is Stockholm, Sweden's dazzling capital city, but along the way you will pass several lovely spots. After crossing the Norwegian Border, you will head for the Swedish city of Karlstad, which is located on the northern shore of Lake Vanern. The city humorously refers to itself as the "city of sunshine" due to the number of sunlight hours it has annually.
After a break here for lunch on your own, continue traveling through the Swedish countryside, passing the towns of orebro and Eskilstuna, before reaching Stockholm. Upon arrival your coach driver will take your group straight to the hotel to check-in. Enjoy an evening at leisure in Stockholm.
Day 5:
After breakfast in the hotel, a local guide will meet your group in the lobby and lead it on a fantastic, 3-hour city tour of Stockholm. Discover a city like no other; a city whose well-preserved medieval buildings stand alongside modern architecture; a city built upon 14 islands and surrounded by an archipelago of 24,000 islands! You will soon see that when in Stockholm, you are never far from beautiful views. Your sightseeing tour of Stockholm will begin with a visit to the Stockholm City Hall, where the Nobel Prize receptions are held every year. The City Hall is one of Sweden's foremost buildings built in the National Romantic architectural style. See the famous Blue Hall whose walls are decorated with pieces of gold and stained-glass mosaics. Afterwards continue sightseeing by taking a giant step back in time as you stroll through Gamla Stan; Stockholm's Old Town is home to cobbled alleys, narrow streets, houses, shops and soaring church spires.
You will then continue by coach to the impressive Vasa Museum. This outstanding museum, which houses eight exhibitions, is one of Sweden's most popular tourist attractions because of its beautifully-preserved wooden warship that sank in Stockholm Harbor during her ill-fated maiden voyage in 1628. The sightseeing tour will finish up back at the hotel, and you and your fellow travelers will have the remainder of the day to explore Stockholm on your own.
Overnight Cruise - 1 night

There are also many beautiful parks in Stockholm if you prefer to spend the morning getting some fresh air. If you intend to set out early and maximize your time, you may want to consider checking out and storing your baggage downstairs so that you don't have to return specifically to check out.
